Teachers
Well, now in some public school districts in New York State, and other places around the country for the first time, how well students do on state tests, directly influences teachers salary. Bringing in the new system to some school has caused a lot of criticism and controversy, and lets face it, the unions have more control today in our schools than they ever have, and our schools are doing worse and worse, clearly something needs to change.
Now this sounds like a great idea, because lets face it, some teachers just don’t do a good job of teaching. Not everyone is great, or as great as they think they are at their job, and if a teacher isn’t as good as the others, he or she should be paid less, and what better way to see how teachers are doing than more state tests right?
Wrong! Another problem plaguing our public schools is drug use among students. As an example lets say, next year, its the day of the state test that will determine teachers pay. Last night, one of the students had a party, with drugs at said party . There were 40 students at that party, and they all hit the pipe. The next day, those 40 students walk into school, and they fail that test. Is it the teachers fault that the students made irresponsible decisions? No!
When the time comes where they do determine a teachers salary based on students academic performance, please, for the love of god, mandate drug tests, before any students starts that test!

MINECRAFT
Among an entire world of sandbox games, Minecraft is one that sticks out from most sandbox games. Not only are its graphics noticeably different, but game play, and the object of the game are also very different.
There are three modes, hardcore, survival and creative, now…single player is fun enough, but the real fun lies online! Play with a partner, or play with a party of 200 people. You can work on projects as a whole, or individual and compete for who has the best buildings or creations.

Undercover Boss
One of my once favorite things to do on a Sunday night, was tune into the show Undercover Boss. Undercover Boss is a show where, C.E.O’s and Presidents of large corporations, dress up as a person attempting to get a job, and they say that they are filming a reality television show in order to not raise suspicion with the cameras.
The bosses are able to understand, and see what is really going on in their companies. Sometimes they are pleased, and touched by the incredible job, and the dedication that the employees are showing. Other times, the Bosses get annoyed at the terrible job, or lack of enthusiasm that the employee is showing.
Recently Undercover boss has changed from its Sunday night slot on CBS, to CBS’s Friday night line up, this change threw off some people, including myself, for a few days I thought that the season was over. Never the less, Undercover Boss in showing Friday evenings at 8/7c on CBS…Check your local listings.

Sticky Notes (Post-it-note) History
If you look upon the common desk, you will find a few things, pens, paper, and the common sticky notes. Go beyond the office, and sicky notes are everywhere. Commonly found in, the kitchen, the car, the workshop, creating a constant remind for you to do something important. Ever wonder how these handy pieces of paper came about?
In 1980 the 3M company debuded its Post-it note, brand sticky note, which became the standard glued yellow paper we know today. The product was the creation of a one, Dr. Spencer Silver, who worked for 3M. He worked for over five years to develop these handy reminders!
In 1968 Silver developed a reusable adhesive while working at 3M, five years later, a man Art Fry, came up with the idea, to place this adhesive to keep his bookmark in place.
Over the years, many other companies have came up with similar products, and today sticky notes come in many different shapes and sizes, but nothing beats the original Post-It-Note!
